Now that Open Beta has ended, we wanted to take a moment to provide the latest information on the transition of Pre-order customers’ subscriptions from Open Beta to Live. Open Beta players who have not Pre-ordered by April 24th will be able to play only after purchasing a retail edition of the game.
Pre-order customers who apply their key prior to the 24th will automatically be extended through April 29th. This grace period is designed to help Pre-order customers in the event of unexpected delays in their getting the retail edition of the game. Most Pre-order customers shouldn't have any problems getting the game on the 24th, but the grace period will help those customers who may have opted for surface mail delivery.
After April 29th, all Pre-order customers will be required to have retail product keys applied to their accounts in order to continue playing.
We hope this policy will help ease the transition from beta to live for as many players as possible!
